Vaastu Vigyan Vaastu Shastra is an ancient Vidya of structure, which taught the users the art of harmonious living with the natures field of energy (Akash, Vayu, Agni, Jal and Prithvi). The term 'Vastu' is basically derived from the Sanskrit word 'Vaas' which means 'to reside'. The Shaastra (Study) of Vaastu is called Vaastu Shastra. The Vaastu Shastra is basically based on the directions and energies generated there to. In the space we have the electromagnetic radiation. However in immediate surroundings at our homes and offices we can exercise some control for reducing both direct and indirect exposure. So, By practicing Vaastu Shaastra, You can induce positive aspects conferred by your destiny and reduce the negative ones. Three Types of Vaastu—Vaastu is the arrangement of space on the earth or any piece of land. The most vibrant energy resides in the earth and is called by different names such as Bhoomi Purush, Vaastu Naathan and Vaastu Purush. It is said that when 'Vaastu Purush' is oriented towards the cardinal directions i.e. North, East, South and West, he is considered to be awake and when oriented towards the angular directions like the North East (NE) South East (SE), South West (SW) and North West (NW) he is considred to be asleep. The Vaastu Purush is said to have three positions— Sthira Vaastu Chara Vaastu Nitya Vaastu Sthira Vaastu Here, the position of Vaastu purush along North East (NE) and SouthWest (SW) is said to be his permanent body position. It is considred the most important position and it is concerned with the construction of a house, temple, village etc. It is the permanent position of any construction for all seasons throughout the year. Most of the Vaastu principles of this position were carved to avoid the scorching ray of Sun during the Summer season. Chara Vaastu The second type of vaastu is called 'Chara Vaastu' or moving body, Here, The Vaastu purush lies on his side in one direction for full three months and keeps on rotating in a clockwise direction. It means it is closely linked to the various seasonal changes. Chara Vaastu is useful for the construction of shivira (temporary residence), tents, temporary banquet halls, moving circus shows, religious gatherings or dramas. This construct-ion is done only for a maximum time period of three months. Nitya Vaastu The second type of vaastu is called 'Chara Vaastu' or moving body, Here, The Vaastu purush lies on his side in one direction for full three months and keeps on rotating in a clockwise direction.
